This tie of friendship, has it's prosperity's and falls too. In the old Persia, dogs had a main role and positive place in the life of Persians. It was a duty for any Persian to have a dog or take care of dog in his home. In that period, dogs classified by Iranians as: shepherds, hounds, home dogs and specially guardians which are originally the big dogs. When the Islam came to Iran (in about 1300 years ago) The Iranians changed their view about dogs as a "najess" (unclean) beings.
