Belgian Malinois Shepherd dogs in Iran

History of this breed in Iran:

It seems that the first Belgian Malinois dogs came to Iran in December 8, 1999 when the Iranian Police force bought sniffer dogs from France to help in its desperate battle against drug trafficking. In that time French authorities provided the Iranian Police forces with 10 Belgian Malinois dogs. This report is the only evidence about this breed in this country.
